Gravel Drive, edging and doorstep

After getting around 6 quotes we decided to use Laurence as we had seen the quality of his work with some other customers.

Planning and process

Laurence came around and discussed all the options and came up with some excellent ideas to make the driveway more visually pleasant including redoing the doorstep to match the edging. We had to work within a budget and Laurence was able to save money through using hardcore onsite etc. Laurence was very helpful and responsive throughout.

The most reasonable quote taking into account the extras we had done and the quality of work.

Work

Clean and tidy throughout. All workers worked very hard and were polite and helpful throughout.

Finish

The quality of the work was excellent and we are very pleased with the overall result. We would have no hesitation in recommending to other people including our friends and family.

When looking for a landscape gardener we deliberately didn’t give a detailed brief. Laurence was enthusiastic about our project from the beginning and full of ideas, which was important to us and he produced a great design concept that altered very little to the finished garden.

He and his team were efficient, friendly and the quality of the workmanship is very high. Laurence kept us involved at every stage of the process, nothing was too much trouble, even sending photo and text updates when I was working abroad. It was fascinating and exciting to watch the garden develop and come alive.

He really knows his stuff and provided practical advice whenever any decisions needed to be made from drainage (we are in a heavy clay soil area) to planting scheme. Laurence is someone you can trust and takes great care to get things right for you.

The whole process was a real pleasure and ran smoothly, from initial quote through to aftercare.

We now have a beautiful garden with interest from every angle that perfectly complements the house and we are looking forward to see it unfold through the seasons.

I was delighted with the work Laurence and his team completed for me. Newly laid back lawn, dug out planting beds (with new planting) and they laid a new Indian sandstone patio and side path to the rear of my property. Laurence had some really interesting ideas and gave some great advice on what we could do.

Fantastic workmanship, a great team ethic and I’m so pleased with the final look. Would highly recommend, and will have the team coming back to do more work in 2018 (driveway is next)!
