Within 10 minutes of meeting Laurence I knew I would buy from him. He has his customers needs at the heart of everything he does and is beyond passionate about his craftmanship. This passion is shared by his team who put in 100% of every moment they were on site.

Laurence worked closely with us from start to finish of the project, keeping us informed and always meeting our expectations. Not really knowing what we wanted, Laurence paid attention to our brief, guided us, and created a stunning finish that’s completely blown us away, far exceeding our expectations.

The work in my garden is just coming to an end and I’m very pleased with the result. I never had a total vision of what I wanted but Laurence took my thoughts, likes and dislikes and came up with ideas and recommendations. Those evolved as the garden came on and I was offered choices at all stages. Reading other reviews the same praises come up time and again but in addition to designing and building, Laurence is great at communicating, time keeping, organisation and choosing the plants. His team are also great. It was nice to be introduced to them all by name and I chatted to them on a daily basis. They were all incredibly polite, friendly and hard working. I find that particularly impressive for the younger members of the team. As a result and as a way to thank them, I invited them all round for a beer and a bite to eat as the project came to a close, and will do so again next Spring/Summer.

Within minutes of speaking to Laurence we knew he was going to be the right person to be our landscaper. From the moment he set foot in our garden he was enthusiastic, passionate and above all else he was willing to listen to what it was that we actually wanted. Throughout our entire process he has always made sure that he has taken on board things that we’ve liked or that have been important to us and he has delivered every single time. He drew a sketch after our first meeting and his vision blew us away. Little did we know just how true to life the end result was going to be to that sketch that he drew quite a few months earlier. He has made our garden look twice the size it did before and everybody that has been to see it has been in awe.

You won’t find anybody easier to approach than Laurence if you’ve got any worries or concerns. We have maintained a great relationship from the very beginning and he has always made it very easy and comfortable for us to speak to him about anything we weren’t sure about.

He and his team are so committed to their work and it’s very apparent how much they love what they do. Their attention to detail is beyond ridiculous and one of the things I like most about Laurence and Jesse in particular is how they are always looking to create something unique and individual for each garden they work on. No two gardens ever look the same and I think they really embrace the challenge of coming up with new ideas and being innovative. All of the lads are polite and friendly and I can’t speak highly enough of them all. They always keep the site as tidy as they can and they are just generally lovely to have around. We’ve had our fair share of bad experiences with builders and tradesmen but Laurence and his guys have totally restored our faith.

From concept to creation I would say the whole journey has been smooth and enjoyable and we will be sad to see them go when it’s all finished!

Our experience of workmen has only ever been negative! So when we made the decision to embark on getting the garden landscaped we were filled with dread! That was until the day we took the decision to get in touch with the Landscapers that were doing over the road from us, Laurence Hebblethwaite LTD.

We had spoken to other landscapers and been left flat and uninspired, but from the moment Laurence came into our garden within minutes he created a vision and he was fueled with enthusiasm.

Laurence explained that the project would be fluid but that he would do us a rough sketch because he could tell we were visual people. It was a novelty to be understood and accommodated by someone that was coming to do work at our house. The sketch was with us a day or two later followed by another meeting with an excited Laurence. His enthusiasm was contagious and started to make us feel very at ease and excited too. There was quite a wait for Laurence to become available but between us all we made the decision that we thought his company was worth the wait. We were right!!

In the months we were waiting for work to start he kept in contact with us sporadically so we knew we hadn’t been forgotten. He used his attention to detail to build a relationship with us so he got to know what we were about and use what he had learnt to create a garden that was tailored to our family. Once work began we met the team and with each person was another reason to be impressed with Laurence’s work ethic. Every person worked hard from the moment they got to work till the moment they left. Time keeping was incredible, whatever the weather. Communication when moving around other jobs on other sites was always transparent. Politeness and manners were a given from everybody. Before long it was more like having friends doing work for you, they were so approachable. The garden started to take shape very quickly and with a daily update from Laurence or whoever he had left in charge of what they had achieved that day and what the next day had in store for us. There were no empty promises and everything that was promised came to fruition. Our garden became the image that Laurence had first described on the day he first came to see us. It was beautiful!

Laurence and his work colleagues have created a haven for my family. He has made what could have been an extremely stressful situation into a very relaxing one. There was never any apprehension if I need to discuss anything because his only interest was making the process a positive one and the garden exactly as we wanted it.

Thank you Laurence and the guys for making it so when we look into our garden, we see nothing but positivity and happy times. We always had a garden but you’ve created a “haven” and we made new friends along the way too.
